It is with great sadness that we have to let members know that our wonderful and inspiring group coordinator, Margaret Binney, passed away on 27th September.  At this moment we are taking time to adjust to this sudden shock but do intend to carry on with our group.  Further details will be posted here when we have sorted out how we go forward, however, rest assured the group will carry on.  In the meantime if you wish to contact us please email creativewriting@fromethirdage.com

The Group is going to restart in November following the news above and so will generally meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2.00pm to 4.30pm or whenever we run out of words.  Therefore our next meeting will be on Tuesday 24th November, 2pm at the new coordinator's house in Bath, Road Frome.  The coordinator is Phil Buckley and can be reached using the email links above and below.  Occasionally we may change venue if circumstances require so check back here although if you are a member you will be contacted with the latest information.

In our writing group we look at all aspects of the written word. You can write stories, poetry, memoirs, descriptive pieces or even jottings from your day.

Each month we have a theme but you don't have to keep exclusively to this. We chat about how to improve our writing and which books have inspired us. It is a friendly and supportive group and more importantly it is sociable and fun.
