Local Interest Visits

Local Interest Visits operate on the basis that any Frome Third Age member who would like to visit anywhere of interest can propose a visit, checking that it is open on the Friday in question (the first Friday of the month) and confirming costs. Details of the next month's visit will be announced at the main monthly meeting at the Assembly Rooms, including a proposed meeting time for the visit.  Any Frome Third Age members can go.  We will also always put the details of the next visit on the website here so please keep your first Friday of the month free and check back here regularly.

FUTURE VISITS

Our next visit is to Iford Manor on Friday June 5th when we will meet in the coffee shop around 10.30.  The gardens do not open until 11am.  All details can be found on their website by clicking HERE

Pre booking online is essential due to small size of the garden and tickets are available HERE .  Basic ticket prices are £12 or £11 for over 65s however there are various offers which may be of interest, i.e 2 for 1 tickets for holders of a Gardeners World 2 for 1 card.

Please be aware the gardens have many steps and slopes and that some of the paths have loose surfaces.
