F3A News

January 2026.  The yearly subscription for membership of The Frome Third Age is now due.  The fee is £20 per annum and is payable by BACS (preferable - please give your name as a reference so that we can identify who it is that has paid), Standing Order, Cash or Cheque (Payable to 'Frome Third Age' - NOT, F3A or Frome 3rd Age).  If payment is not received by the end of January, membership will be suspended until such time as payment is made.

Anyone who has become a member of the Frome Third Age (F3A) during the past year is invited to a New Members' meeting.  We hold this meeting each year to welcome members who have joined in the past twelve months.  This meeting is a chance for you to meet the Committee members and ask any questions you may have regarding the F3A.   It is an informal meeting and all new members from February 2025 to January 2026 are invited.  As an added incentive to come along there will be tea/coffee, cake and biscuits!  

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, 17th March, 2026 at 2.30 pm

Committee Members, Phil and Jean,  will be hosting the meeting at 66 Bath Road, Frome BA11 2HG

We would love to see as many of you as possible.  If you do intend to come, could I ask you to please let me know by EMAIL, or personally at the February or March monthly meetings.  This will give us an idea of how many of you to expect. 

Monthly Meeting, Friday 13th February 2026 - the talk for this will meeting will be given by Chris Sperring.  It is entitled 'Owls - the natural history and their practical conservation'. 

We have a proposal for a new, second Scrabble group to be set up alongside the existing group if enough members are interested.  Please email enquiries@fromethirdage.com if you would like to join this group and your details will be passed on to those members organising it.
